Disconnect the following the cables from the system board:

Power button board cable (included in the power button board spare part kit, spare part

number 639481-001)

●

TouchPad cable (included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 639473-001)

●

Function board cable (included in the function board spare part kit, spare part number

639480-001)

●

Power connector cable (included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 639473-001)

3. Turn the top cover upside down, with the rear panel toward you.

4. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×4.2 screws that secure the system board to the top cover.

5. Lift the left side of the system board (1) until it rests at an angle.
