DILUTION RATIOS

Chemicals must be properly diluted to work effectively. What

does it mean if the ratio is 1:4? It means that 32 ounces of

concentrate should be mixed with one gallon of water (there are

128 ounces in a gallon). ''1:4'' is another way of saying ''32:128''.

Some typical ratios are listed below:

CONVERSION CHART

1 Gallon = 128 Ounces

1 Quart = 32 Ounces

1 Pint = 16 Ounces

1 Cup = 8 Ounces

1 Ounce = 1/8 Cup

2 Cups = 1 Pint

2 Pints = 1 Quart

4 Quarts = 1 Gallon

NOTE: When mixing cleaners, you may find it helpful to fill your

container with the proper amount of water, then add the

concentrate and thoroughly mix the solution. If you add the

water to the concentrate, you may create a large amount of

foam. By adding the concentrate to the water, the amount of

foaming from the concentrate is minimized.
