Gamma Correction

Available in ], ;, ', , or . mode

This function improves the picture by increas-

ing the brightness of the darker portion or by

decreasing the brightness of the brighter

portion.

Types

STANDARD: Standard image without

gamma correction

1 HIGHLIGHT (?): Decreasing the bright-

ness of brighter portion

2 DARKNESS (|): Increasing the brightness

of dark portion

3 CONTRAST (}): Enhances the contrast

1 Turn on the camera in the desired mode.

2 Press the MENU button until the menu

screen appears.

3 Press l or m to select “P”, then

press the SET button.

4 Press l or m to select “GAMMA”, then

press the SET button.
