 Air Feed System

(Same as MX-7040N / MX-6240N)

SRA3 large capacity tray (2 drawers), MX-LC13, supports Sharp’s air feed system. It brings various advantages

compared to roller feed system.

 Humidity and temperature sensor to stabilize condition of paper.

 Uses pneumatic sensor to control appropriate air feed.

 Multi-Feed Detection Sensor Unit (MX-M1204 / MX-M1054 only)

The multi-feed detection sensor employs ultrasonic technology to help diagnose and

detect misfeeds from the document feeder as well as the paper feed section. This is

same as previous models, MX-M1100 / MX-M950.

 Create PDF for PC Browsing

Users can browse the PDF data stored on the MFP’s HDD from their PC by converting the filing data into PDF data.

You can also download the PDF data.

Note: When you use this feature, both normal document filing data and PDF data are created, so they consume

the capacity of MFP HDD.

 Store PC’s Application Data into MFP’s HDD

In addition to saving the filing data as PDF, users can use the MFP’s HDD as the NAS (Network Attached

Storage). Other users can read/upload the data stored in the MFP. Users can use up to 512 GB of the HDD as

NAS area.

Note: We recommend installing the optional Mirroring Kit (MX-EB15) to safeguard documents as a secondary back

up should the main HDD become corrupt or faulty.
