Basic Recording

Please make these preparations before recording.

• Did you connect a power source? (BatteryPack orAC PowerAdapter)

• Did youset the powerswitchto CAMERAposition?

• Did youinsertacassette?(seepage22)

• Openthe LCDScreenand makesurethat STBYisdisplayedon the LCD(if the redtab of the cassetteis opened,STBYwill not be

displayed)

• Did youopenthe LENSCAP?

• Makesurethe imageyouwant torecordappearsinthe LCDmonitor.

• Makesurethe batterylevelindicatesthatthere is enoughremainingpowerforrecording.(seepage21)

• We recommendthat beginners,who areusingthe camcorderforthe firsttime,switchthe EASYmodeon. (see page33)
