couplerafterthemaskfilterthatissentbacktotheexciterviacoaxialcable.Thesample(‐5dB

mlevelisnominalfor

M2Xexciters,LPUs,andCCD‐LPUs)isusedtoproducepre‐correctionwhichisappliedtotheexciteroutput.Thus,

theexciteroutputispre‐distortedtocompensateforthedistortionsproducedintheoutputmaskfilter.Single

transmittersystemsnormallyoperatewithRTACcorrectionssettoAdap

tmode.Preandpost‐filterRTACsample

levelsshouldbewithin1dBofeachother.
