Strategies that aﬀect the design of the HVA C system – design principles and

innovative design strategies.

For both of these categories, IAQ strategies were deﬁned to prevent HVAC

systems and components from being and becoming a source of pollution

(Bluyssen et al., 2003). These are summarized in Tables 6.8 to 6.14.
